Recent Enhanced System Discovery Changes - Before upgrading make sure to update your license keys!

.59 - First R2 Build. Added Group Delta Discovery capabilities and automatic collection updating.

.60 - Fixed a bug in automatic collection updating

.64 - Removed a dependency on non-x64 capable .dll (but we still don't support x64 yet). Added new DDR naming scheme. Change from Prefix + number to Prefix + AssignedSite(if localonly enabled) + Computername + number. Changed text on message box when ESD first run to provide instructions to run with UAC disabled.

.66 - Corrected bug in collection refreshing – where it was failing for certain site codes.

.67 - Added DescriptionConfigMgrCompat – a registry setting to discover the description attribute like ConfigMgr does natively.

.68 - Added the alternateGroupAdsPath – ability to have a different ldap scope for groups than the ADSpaths specified for computer discovery. Changed licensing keys. All customers with update support will need new keys for this version on.

.69 - Fixed a problem introduced in .68 with group membership discovery. (7/13/2009)

.71 - Some minor enhancements (8/14/2009):

Added more debugging/logging focused on the collection update functions. If there are WMI connection issues the log should indicate that now.

Added function to wait until ConfigMgr processes all DDRs before attempting to update collections.

Fixed a bug when more than 35 systems are changed via group membership in monitored group. A few systems may not have DDRs created and that is fixed.

.75 - Added additional logging for collection refresh. This is just simply to help validate Collection Refresh is working, and when not what error is being produced. Changed the evaluation code so instead of being time limited, ESD is just feature limited with many, many dialogs.

Enhanced System Discovery 2007 R2 is now available! R2 further improves synchronization with Active Directory and now will update collection membership automatically when AD Group membership is changed! Also see new customer performance results!
